In the warm up session, in the picture here on the right, they have you swing a couple times getting comfortable with the bar, being upside down, landing on the net below, etc. But it’s all in preparation for the final round (shown here on the left) which comes with a catch.

There are other places in the bay area to fly on a trapeze - in San Francisco, Oakland and Emeryville – but this is the only set up that is outdoors! It’s worth the drive out.
